‘CALL ME YOUR PARADISE’ is pop duo NIGHTMÅNE’s first release of 2022, and it’s clear they wanted to transport their listeners to their own ‘happy places’ with their pop crafting super powers. ‘CALL ME YOUR PARADISE’ is a 3 1/2 minute sonic daydream where singer Anthony Starble invites you to join him in his state of joyful infatuation, sipping euphoria in your soda pop. You can almost see Starble close his eyes on an ordinary day and open them to find himself as full of wonder as Charlie in Willy Wonka’s Chocolate Factory. Producer Sigurd Heimdal uses NIGHTMÅNE’s trademark vocoder, analog synths, and passionate thick textures, but channels a tighter production approach with snappy mid-tempo drums and a funky baseline to really get the listeners bopping along in casual fashion. With a Max Martin-esque chorus anthem, NIGHTMÅNE proves their songwriting abilities rival the best of the best. ‘CALL ME YOUR PARADISE’ is the song you need to escape to for a little break from reality.
