NIGHTMÅNE takes us on a lonely bus ride with their newest release ‘MY PILLOW’ using vivd landscape visuals as a backdrop for a regretful and longing heart. Singer Anthony Starble is rushing back home to fix a broken relationship, hoping to find his partner still in the bed where he left them. NIGHTMÅNE’S signature Scandi-Pop sound is restrained in ‘MY PILLOW’, acting as a warm blanket around Starble’s vocals so as not to overpower the set and setting meticulously crafted in the top line. Producer Sigurd Heimdal’s analog synths and airy ambient sounds feel classic to the Synth-Pop genre, and the slick vocal production and mixing make this record a pure pop gem. NIGHTMÅNE wanted to tell a personal story with ‘MY PILLOW’ highlighting a universal feeling. To everyone who’s let someone special go by mistake, NIGHTMÅNE hopes this song will inspire bravery in you to lay yourself out on the line and fix it. Love is always worth it.
